Mary Goss-Crowson

Mary Goss-Crowson

Mary has been running since 1976. She has completed 17 marathons with a p.r. of 3:16:34. She remembers when she had to wear men’s clothing to work out in. She and her husband started RRS in 1982. She has been serving on the Board of Girls on the Run and Ozark Greenways for the past several years. She also enjoys facilitating at Lost and Found with grief counseling.

Miriam Flouer

Miriam Flouer

Miriam has been a part of the RRS scene for many years. She was a Drury swimmer, has a degree in Biology from Drury U., has much experience in medical sales, has run several marathons, and can keep up with or outrun most of the guys in Springfield. She has been the assistant swim Coach for Kickapoo H.S. for the last two years.

James Collins

James Collins

James is responsible for the latest influx of speedy runners at RRS. (Props to Chris, Matt, & Case, who are still very fast.) He was the first to come here and recommended his friends. That has led to a plethora of great help at the Store and the races. He ran for Glendale H.S. and Baker University. He is now a student at Drury University, aspiring to be a coach and teacher. He is very knowledgeable and would love to write a training plan for you or work as your personal trainer.

Jacob Elwood

Jacob Elwood

We are happy to have Jacob with us. He, most recently, has a background in retail sales, but he has a degree in Physical Education, with a minor in coaching. He ran for Buffalo H.S. in cross country and track. He will give you good advice, has had some great experiences, and reads good books pertaining to running. Jacob also survived cancer a few years ago and enjoys encouraging others to never give up.

Chris Mooneyham

Chris Mooneyham & Spencer Haik

Chris has been with us for a couple of years. It has been delightful watching him run (in the low 15’s for this year’s XC season.) He finished 2nd in the state. He is the 2013 2-mile state champion in track. He is also a very hard worker. (You will get to watch Chris run this year at M.U. as they welcome him to the Tigers running program.)

Spencer helps at races, along with Chris, when he is not racing himself. It is fun having these guys around. They share everything including wins. First and second at nearly every meet they ran this year. You have to stay until the race is over to find out which.
