RRS STAFF

Mary Goss-Crowson - Springfield, MO

Mary has been running for 34 yrs.  She has completed 17 marathons with a p.r. of 3:16:34.  She remembers when she had to wear men's clothing to work out in. She and her husband started RRS in 1982.

Angie Dodson, from Rogersville,, MO

Angie ran track in high school where she placed 5th in state in the 4x4 relay. She still holds the triple jump record at Logan-Rogersville. She continues to run to stay in shape. Angie was recently certified to teach Hot Yoga. She will lead our RRS Yoga here in January.

 Chris Yates, from Ozark, MO

Chris has grown up at RRS. From Ozark H.S. to Drury U., running, working, and going to school are the components that make up Chris. This spring, he will graduate from Drury and move on to Pharmacy School at an undisclosed location. Here he is with his Mom, Ann, who is oh so proud.

Miriam Flouer, from Oklahoma City, OK

Miriam has been a part of the RRS scene for many years; however, she only recently began helping in the Store. She was a Drury swimmer, has run several marathons, and continues to be a very competitive runner in the local road races.

Lucy Stein, from St. Louis, MO

Lucy brings more energy to any venue than she takes away. If only we could keep up with her -- on the roads, the tennis court, the pool, in the Store. My only hope to defeat her is an eating contest, and that is questionable.

Brandi Bowling, Springfield, MO

Brandi has been with us for a few months. She has worked at a bike shop and a hospital, and is now going to nursing school. She enjoys adventure racing, running, mountain biking and many other activities.

ORS STAFF

Craig Crowson & Mary Goss-Crowson

Craig had no idea what he was in for when he got involved with ORS (or Mary) about seven years ago. His favorite job is talking on the microphone.

Linda Barnett (left); Lebanon, MO

Linda works as an I.T. person during the day, and the scope of her life skills has yet to be fully realized.  At ORS, she can do any task, but her favorite is greeting husband Brent at the finish line of each race.

Linda Brewer (right); Hometown - Hattiesburg, MS

Linda is a retired reading specialist with the Springfield Public Schools.  Linda has worked with ORS since its inception in 1982 and is an important part of our group.  She keeps threatening to retire from ORS as well, but we ignore her when she says that.

Joe Lomosi; Hometown - Kakamega, Kenya

Joe Lomosi once lamented that he is an early riser, but there was nothing to do at 5 am. He made the mistake of saying this in front of Linda Barnett. One year and many races later, Joe can be seen setting up and timing early morning races for Ozark Racing Systems. Although he doesn't have a favorite race, he says triathlons are most challenging. Joe is originally from Kenya, but he says that hasn't helped his running.
